They are not part of the normal diets of pumas, bobcats, and lynxes... Rodents, rabbits, etc. are... They were fascinated by the crayfish's movements as all cats are... I remember you giving Martin a fish for his birthday and he seemed to ignore it... It would be interesting to see their reactions to cooked and "de-shelled" crayfish tail meat ( fresh or frozen )... My cats aren't real fish fans, even the canned cat food variety, although they eat the dry food... 😉😏 But, they will eagerly lick up the butter/margarine... ( But, I take care that they don't eat the other seasonings such as Old Bay Seasoning since it could be toxic to them and really potent to people... Look it up... It's another thing that Maryland is famous for ! 😉😊 ) I knew that the balloons were doomed from the start and the banners were initially too tempting to be left alone...😄 You did a great job decorating the cage and it was funny to watch the reactions to your "party noise maker" ( they weren't expecting or were ready for it... ) 😄 Here in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and Louisiana, we have the Blue Crab ( Maryland is famous for them ), and is a very much larger crustacean that would deliver a bigger bite and have a very hard shell... 😉 I love what you do for your cats ( big and little ) as well as for your other animals and the construction, and your gardens...
